Project narrative

Overview

The project covered the development of modular Eco Planter units — exterior street furniture combining a decorative role with an ecological one.

Each planter was designed as a self-contained, fully welded aluminium module with a rainwater feed taken directly from the building's downpipe.

Execution

A system of Ø55 mm pipes and connectors was used, with a flexible hose and a set of diffusers distributing water inside the planter.

The body was made from 50×50×3 mm aluminium profiles, 3 mm ACM panels and timber-effect cladding in Light Winchester Oak. Powder-coated details in PMS 160 Brown complete the unit and give the design a...

Outcome

Street furniture that balances aesthetics and ecology

The body was made from 50×50×3 mm aluminium profiles, 3 mm ACM panels and timber-effect cladding in Light Winchester Oak. Powder-coated details in PMS 160 Brown complete the unit and give the design a warm, natural character.
